nothing wrong with a deposit on items our pocket money was made up from a lot of "recycling" of pop bottles (they still have a deposit on barrs pop still i believe) why punish people for not recycling when kids can do it for the deposit ,trouble is kids get to much today so dont have to or they steal it instead of picking up bottles to return for the deposit.parents think "loving" their kids involves money it doesent it means instilling virtue and respect for others.

my post was about in essence public service and the whole lifestyle and why public service today does its best to not service the public.you may have had graffiti back then or litter but some low paid public worker had pride enough to do his job properly not complain about his wages and neglect his duty.

not alls lost theres still a few about that have pride ,they do their jobs to the best of their ability and maybe chuck a few hours in in unpaid time not because their forced to but because they want to ,my pride was an immaculate garden on friday night for my old boss to enjoy i didnt leave till i was satisfied not because it was 5 oclock .

theres truth in the huge amount of packaging but you can again blame the government for not banning it! transfats making our kids fat blame the government for not banning it ,they pick on smokers readily enough so its not impossible for them to bring in legislation but no its not getting money into their funds so let them use as much packing as they want then tax the hell out of the public to get rid of it!!! "green" rules just mean more taxes on land fill so it gets dumped in the countryside instead.

what was a fairly respectable public service serving the public in edwardian times is now a huge tax collecting company servicing its own greed certainly not the public.

when the council waste millions on stupid schemes that fail do they sack those thinking of it? nope they raise the council tax and fire a dustman or two or ten and cut back everything else .the charlatans that waste the money vote themselves another pay rise and settle back into their leather armchairs thinking of how to waste more money after all it isnt theirs. :(

blimey says mr councilor our 1 remaining bog cleaner can't do a proper job like the 3 he's replaced do we employ another bog cleaner to help him out? no we'l close the bogs ,i remember when large bogs had attendants that kept their own bogs spotless but ofcourse with the waste that goes on in council circles unchecked he and his counterparts have long gone!

The russian sub was moved i have heard because it did not pay it's bill, It's at Rochester. A bussiness guy has bought the harbour complex and i have just heard one of the things he is trying to do is to fill in the inner harbour and errect a huge block of flats or whatever higher than the Burstine. All of the sea front is up for redevelopement, don't know if it will be for the benifit of the locals though.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

that hotel burstin replaced some fine buildings one was a small pub with live music took my mrs there several times. in its hay day the front had a pier and a hoofing great rollercoaster ,the pier burnt down in the 20's.

what pees me off is councils sell council land ,they are supposed to care for it for the people not sell it off to fund their pensions.

the burstin when it went up was a gleaming white eyesore now its a flaking one, take a stroll up the road of remembrance and look down at the old paths just litter bins now ,its worth searching through ebay for postcards from your neck of the woods but youl probably be disapointed with what you see now compared to then
