Yesterday afternoon, guy fishing next swim to me, called Lee, called for help "Den, I have got 2 on at once"

 

I dash 20 yards along the bank and he is playing one fish and one of the other two is also whizzing off. I pick up rod and start to play it.

 

Another guy came and netted the first fish, and I handed the rod over so Lee can finish playing it.

 

 

Then the third rod shot off................................

Two 25lbs and one 18lbs. Common,fully scaled and a mirror, only one missing was a leather :)

 

Right result, and captured on my new HD video camera :)

Hi Jan, it happened to me a couple of times last August(2006) but they were a lot smaller than Lees fish though :)

 

He also had two on at once later on, one was 28+ and the other 16lbs. It has been hard going for the last few weeks, but the fish have really switched on now :) I was happy as well; first off, I do like to see people catching, and secondly, I had 6 myself up to 24lbs :)

:) :) Ant, with 5 blokes on the bank, and two nets in the water, rods all over the place and me dancing around with the camera, I thought it best to at least get the pod out of the way :)

 

Way that Lee is catching at the moment, he could probably get a couple if he was fishing in the field behind us :)

 

The pic is a frame taken from a video. Pity i can't post the full version, specially to show the behaviour of a certain Mr P&I who knows it all, and has yet to catch a fish this season.............he "only joined to test out a few rigs" :) but always seems to know why we are catching fish :) while he blanks,

Sounds chaotic! Would be great to see the vid. That new camera of yours is a quality bit of kit to get a frame like that what model is it?

As for 'Mr P&I who knows it all' unfortunately every club/syndicate has one. It just amuses me that they think we are so gullable to beleive everything they say.

Ant, camera is Sony HDR SR5E. Records in full High Def (1080 lines) I was pleasantly surprised( actually a bit more than that :) ) to see the quality of selecting a single frame :)

 

Plug in to the TV and it is STUNNING
