i have a ctugg system to transport my boat about which worked fine for the first ten or so outings but now it slips off all the time, any suggestions on how i can get it to hold better?

my hull is an islander strike the same mould as the old wilderness systems ride, it is flat in the middle with two bulges on the outside of the hull either side, shaped like a "w".

You could try putting the trolley at the front of the kayak and tow it backwards. It's worth a try.

1 on the lure is worth 2 from the bait.

When i strap my yaks down I put the straps through the side carrying handles.

Good idea, it's usually the simple ideas like that are the best.

It was a case of a dropped yak that did it. I originally put them behind the seat, which gives better steering and more ground clearance, but there was a slight drop between the beach and the track leading from the promenade - I went over it and the wheels slipped off the back. Since then i've mostly done it strapped through where the handles are and it's been fine, although the jolt if I use that track can sometimes release one of the wheels.

Wetter than an otter's pocket.
