hellow all, just bought my first kayak and would like any info on getting started. I'm no novice when it comes to angling but I'm a bit green concerning seacraft. I've got most of the gear wet suits.pdf etc and I'm planning for a VHF licence soon. Any possibility of tagging on to a trip somewhere to pick your brains. Not bothered about midnight gonger bashing just yet. The last time I did the gonger around midnight I ended up with a shiner.I live just north of Nottingham so any replies welcome.

There's a meet this weekend, Friday 12-Sunday 15th (fish on Monday as well if you want of course) in Lowestoft if you fancy it - Piking, Mulletting and Codding. There is accomodation available and another guy from yur area possibly coming down one of the days.

Thanks alot for the invite but Lowestoft is little too far , don't write me off just yet I'll probably take up the invite some time in the future. Got to spend some time with the kids this weekend ,keep in touch.
