Poppers 2nd Generation

Snatcher

Recommended Posts

They look like sequins Snatcher only a bit bigger and come in various flashy colours, they are used on snoods in conjunction with beads for attracting flatties.

PM me your address and I'll send you a couple of packs, to see if you think they'll be any good

Yes I know where you are coming from, would hate to try gettind a hook from a gannets mouth!!!

Was once releasing a sh*thawk I had caught and it turned its head and sliced my finger open, the next one will get the trangulation job!!!!

If there are too many birds flying about I do not fish poppers.

Snatcher

Are you going to use these off the Pipe at Whiley Bay?

No intend to use them in the area of my static caravan,Drummore,Luce Bay. But you never know I might give it a whirl one fine/calm day in the summer. I will have to see how they fish with a controller float beacauseI think conventinal fly gear would be too awkward to fish off the "sandbags" at the end of the pipe.

Though i have not fished it for years you used to be able to catch enormous Launce of the pipe and pretty good mackerel on the right tides. I am sure there would be Bass around too.

You should try to join us down the Warren, at Folkestone having a grand day out blanking on fly gear.
