shore fishing in Brittany?

Does anybody know what the fishing is like on the southern side of Brittany (around the corner!) I'm going down there next summer. Do you need a licence, what fish are there and what baits etc. Are there any good web sites or books?

AFAIK there are no permits required to fish in the sea in France, check with a local tackle shop though.

If you have a look at the BASS website, their is a link to the French BASS equivalent (last time I looked), who may well be able to help you.
