Fish in Bristol lake to be killed to deter angling

I can't think of anywhere I'd least like to fish than on a busy park lake like this.

Looking at the evidence that Friends of St James Park have gathered, I think there should be an outright fishing Ban but is killing the fish in order to deter angling really the way to go about it?

I don't think there should be a ban, there should be a bailiff. The council won't do it, they need to provide the fishing rights to a club on condition that the club polices the regulations. That is how it works with many other waters.

And if they don't want toxic blue green algae blooms, they need fewer birds, less feeding of them and as a result less bird **** in the water!
