I've seen one advertised a couple of years ago. It was from a South African company and it had a big two coloured ball cock siting on the top of it. Something to do with telling whether it was cominig towards you or away from you. I think it was used because the S,A have have a particular problem with their surf beaches and the size of the waves.

Sorry if it's a bit on the woolly side, but it might jog someones memory.
