Yes nice shot Den. If that was brackish water I'd say it looked "well mullety". Good photo and a lovely looking fishing hole.

You'll need to come to the Lower Itchin sometime Leon, the tidal bit below Woodmill. Mullet and pike in the same river and one doesn't require an EA license.

Had a look there when I last fished the Itchen with Dunk. I was thinking silver tourists :)

'Silver Tourist' is a name given to sea-trout returning to the river after their maritime journies :)

 

(No relation whatsover to the 'Thames Trout' !!)
