the gps data for each image is in a seperate text file right ?

 

is the file name of the text file the same as the filename of the photograph.

 

does the text file only contain the gps data, is there more in the file such as the gps plus the file name and extra data, is the text file even human readable.

 

Im just wondering if a batch script could be written to append the gps in the text files as exif data on the photo

Drag one of those Fuji files into notepad then post the first 20 or so lines of it up here. IF they are XML like in structure it might be possible to write a macro or a script of some kind. You won't get mmillimetre precision from any of the current GPS technology. I don't think the Amirican miltary can get that amount of detail yet.
