I have been watching this channel ,very well presented despite obvious reluctance of some of the police. Not only side scan sonar but diving aswell trying to track down their quarry .They seem like a nice bunch of guys doing a good job so if you like it give it a like! I find the "live" fishfinder type device strangely crude compared to the sonar images it takes an expert to see what they see using it!

Its IS fishing but not for any fish that just popped into your head

Been watching them for a while too.

As you say, some of the sonar images are good enough to tell the make and model.
