Hi I am going to start fishing on small loch and have just obtained a 11 foot boat and a Bison electric outboard engine and I would like some advise on what type of battery I would need it would be best if I could get a battery that is lightweight as i have disability thank you

You'd be better buying a leisure battery   they're designed for multiple charges   draw down and charge known as a cycle 

Any leisure battery will have  finite number of cycles within its lifetime before it gives up the ghost  and it'll vary between makes 

 

What amp battery you'll need will depend on what your motor actually draws from the battery   and for how long you think you'll be running the outboard itself

If weight is an issue, then lithium is the way to go, but they are expensive.

A leisure battery as suggested is your best bet they can be drained far more than normal car versions then recover back to full power completely amongst other benefits

As for lithium the price is going to rocket ,now the worlds run by a few big mouthed loons the worlds country side is going to be devastated by rare earth and lithium mining so demand will increase its cost . For the tech savvy I would grab as many dead laptop packs as you can afford and rebuild a dead car battery into a lithium version before that source is unaffordable.
