Martin; maybe it’s the direction of the tufts on your carpet rather than your rug? If it’s a fitted carpet then you may be stuck with it.

Whatever it is it is puzzling.

Our fireside rug gets accidentally moved and creased up by our feet when we sit on the sofa 🙂
