SOME BIG COD FROM WHITBY FOR JAFFA AND WURZEL.

Norman this one was skinny fish,a very late spawner, in fact 4 days ago i had a cod about 6lb still with roe in its stomach if you look at the other fish they are quite plump all these fish were caught inside of five miles 99% of the cod caught inshore a plump there is plenty of food most of these fish are full of crabs high in protein makes the fat and are in good condition on the other hand the cod caught at 30miles are like razorblades they are starving.

:cool: Just joking mate, good catch. We don't get many cod here now but when we do they're really plump, must be loads of high protien food for them. The less fish there are, the more food there is for them, you must have too many fish up there, or not enough food. :D

My initial comment about the fish being skinny wasn't meant to be derogatory in any way, it was meant to emphasise how the Cod must be struggling to survive.
