Things must be getting worse! Bid TV is now flogging Matt Hayes sea angling kits. A rod plus fixed spool reel, with four weights and four rigs went for £32 plus £6.99 postage.

They all sold, but so does everything on Bid TV. I think if they had a toilet roll for auction, people would buy it.

Another sign that sea angling is in decline.

You can be sure that these are new comers to the sport buying kit like that on the TV, that's two more rod licenses

Yakity, the boat idea has been shelved for the time being. It will be a distinct possibility in the future if fishing improves.
