does anyone know if the ct conversion for abu 6500 sports mag is any good , and is it easy to fit your knowledge is appreciated

Where are you getting it from? - It's years since I 'converted' a 6500. You had to remove the level wind, remove the top bar and install a custom machined conversion bar where the level wind assembly was originally located. Did a few and never had a problem. I used to buy conversion bars from one of the reputable ABU dealers.

mousey,get a CT CAGE from an Abu repair shop, then all you have to do is strip the 6500 and rebuild on the CT cage (kids play)if you can't get on with it, just change it back to the level line cage. once you do a conversion your stuck with it and if you make a b**ls of it, good by reel tight lines fishy1
