Re- coloured water - one of the commercial bass anglers from weymouth says it's not worth fishing if you can't see the rod tip under the water.

It depends what is colouring the water. Bass hate geting sand in their gills, so if the water is coloured by suspended sand it will lessen your chances ( Thats not to say you wont catch one though )
