I have just recieved this by email from the SACN

 

Two boats out of Mersea, the Valkyre and the Argonaut on the 6th and 7th

Sept (this week) have dumped 70 stone each of tope and smoothound on both

days in the Blackwater.

 

They were caught in the hope of securing a market but this evidently did not

happen.

 

This is why we must succeed. Perhaps i would have been more worried if they had got a good price for them.
