Bass - Isle of Wight

Hi.

I am holiday next week, live on Isle of Wight, Bembridge, was wondering if anyone has seen any decent bass in? I have a new boat, only a dory so don't want to go too far out and want to see what I can catch. Anyone any luck?

I was on the island a few weeks ago and was told by the staff in Scotties (?) that lots of bass were showing in the Medina (?).

Mark, there are supposed to quite a few showing close in at Seaview and Atherfield area.

Atherfield they could be seen as the waves were rolling prior to breaking so litterally in the surf.

Thanks for the tips. Seaview a nice little jaunt from Bembridge! I will have a try and let you know what success I have.
