Lol don't worry Alan I've not forgotten the first week in June.. I just have some spare time after that trip

 

As for the "pot bait" well the feedback I'm getting is certain anglers felt that they were paying for the privilege of spending most of the trip catching fish to be sold on as "pot bait"

 

As I said it's not my idea of a charter boat trip, I like to have the option of returning any fish I dont want without having any comments made about it.

anyone is more than welcome to come up anytime, any date, there are loads of shore venues yet to be tried that look like they could be interesting, the more rods trying them the better as far as i see it

As ever looking forward to it sooooooooooo much I have even arranged for Norrie to be about as far away as is possible for that weekend but may get some fly fishing with him before he goes to Lymington and possibly a trip over on my own later in the year, depending on things.

 

With regards to the charter boat, why do some skippers (country wide) try for that extra couple of quid in the short term when they are spoiling there long term chances of bookings :confused:

At least you all had some fish and loads of fun

With refference to the pot bait story i agree that people should be allowed to keep or not to keep what they want, maybe the boatowner has a notion for crab and lobster and does a trade off, maybe hes just been requested by his mate who runs a crabber to keep any fresh bait??
