We are pleased to announce that the Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club will be supporting two very worthwhile causes in the next couple of months.
Through the donation of day tickets to join events run by the Club we will be supporting the Salmon & Trout Association and Macmillan Cancer.
Club Founder and Chairman, Lucy Bowden said;
“Earlier this year we were approached by the Northumbrian brand of the Salmon & Trout Association about donating a voucher towards their annual dinner and raffle being held in November. We donated a voucher towards this event last year which some of our members also attended, and this year we decided to do the same.”
Last month the Club were also asked if they’d donate towards a local auction / raffle to raise money for Macmillan Cancer at a ball being held in Berwick-Upon-Tweed on 22nd October.
Lucy said;
“A cause which is very close to my heart, of course the Club jumped at the chance to help and we hope both events will be very successful.”
The Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club donated two event tickets worth £50 towards both events. The tickets include a day’s fishing with the Club in 2012, equipment hire and coaching from female level 2 minimum qualified coaches if required.
