Yet another successful day was had on Saturday 29th August 2009 by the Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club.
Ten ladies, including three new members made the event held at Sweethope Lough, Northumberland and, albeit for gale force winds all the ladies had a great time!
Unfortunately, although few Trout were caught on the day by the Club, Club Treasurer, Jenny Lindley caught two Pike and Official Club Member, Chris Bowden caught a beautiful Trout which was later then raffled at the end of the day to one of our members!
The Club’s last fishing event of 2009 will be held in September before they take a break over the winter – all ladies are welcome!
The Club are also looking to organise an end of season lunch – date and time TBC!
