Ouch - when I read that sasquatch was among the preds that fed on the tree octopus I knew the species was in trouble.

Sasquatch/Bigfoot is a huge problem for not only the tree octopus but also for humans living in the Pacific North West.

Fortunately, they are easily repelled - they will do almost anything to avoid night quality photo and video equipment and hikers are advised to carry at least two cameras at all times in case if failure. Property can be effectively protected with CCTV and campsites should have at least one trail camera of the type used by wildlife monitoring groups and hunters.
