General
Some cracking catches even though water temperatures are cooling, with fish aware of the shorter daylight and winter approaching as the fish are feeding exceptionally well to get into good condition for winters lower temperatures, The water is still very cloudy from the high numbers bottom and side feeding on the clay and soil bottom, and in the margins, although algie is dying back now temperatures are dropping.

High numbers of tench out this week the best reported to 8lb 7oz  with golden tench to 3lb 4oz caught on mussel, worm and even caster. Fish tight to the margin of the first shelf as the tench are rooting in the reeds to feed.  Rudd on the drop and even roach, orfe and ide are up in the water especially if you spray feed angel pellets over your hook length. Skimmers and bream are feeding dead bottom and of the first shelf or further out,   and keep the pellets going in to keep the shoal in your swim best reported bream was 7lb 10oz. Perch are taking any bait but prefering worm, caster, mussel and prawns. Carp, cruciams, ghosies and koi are feeding well on pellet banded, hair rigged or soft hookers on the hook as well as paste and maggot but also worm and caster.

Lookout
High match and pleasure anglers numbers of fish caught this week with all species feeding well, still easy to target species by your choice of method of fishing with float and pole in the margins doing very well, or tip rod to the back of the island or far bank also doing well as most species are tight in the margins. Change baits to target for perch worm, caster even mussel or praw, or pellet with angel pellet on the bottom for bream, up in the water for ide, rudd, orfe on the drop spraying angel pellets as feed. Carp very tight in margins of the bottom of the second shelf on paste or pellets with angel pellets as feed to keep them there. Tench are feeding well especially on mussel, prawn and sweetcorn.

Young 10 yr old Joe Sinpson (Andy Simpsons son) had a fantastic day with every species being caught and carp over 10lb.

Bowes
Some great carp out this week as they all are feeding well with winter aproaching, very close in and keep the feed of angel pellets going in to keep the carp attracted to your swim. Paste, pellet, mussel, prawn, worm, maggot and caster all have done well this week on the hook and feed angel pellets to keep your swim attracting the fish. Season ticket holders Paul Wood had some excellent days taking 20lb pluses on cubed meat, as well as Ian Dixon continues his excellent record of large doubles every time he fishes, Ian uses cubed meat over angel pellets.

Feeding fish are swerling right in front of the anglers so no need to go out far unless on the tip.

Bassetts
Some excellent sized ide, rudd, roach, skimmers out this week and tench, crucians, carp and koi are all feeding well tight in the margins.

Margaret Ellis 8yrs old from Newcastle fishing with her dad caught 8 tench, 3 carp and rudd also roach with a total of 21 fish on her first fishing session.
