General
A Great week for fishing with some excellent catches, however water temperature dropped and easterly and northern winds hampered presentation and catch rates.
Some very good sized specimen fish being caught including a great 10lb 2oz Bream reported out this week , and some double figured tench, best reported crucian was 2lb 15oz, and carp to 20lb plus. Rudd, Golden Rudd, Roach, Ide, some to 1lb 13oz and Golden Orfe all coming out in good quantities, and sizes some good-sized Perch also being caught.

Pellet on hook or hair rigged, Paste, worm tails, maggot on hook and in feeder, mussel, meat, sweetcorn on hook, caster in groundbait, and Angel feed pellets all working.
Lookout
Keith Stephenson from Sunderland had a good session on Friday morning taking 45 fish comprising 11 carp 2lb to 7lb, 6 tench to 3lb, 22 skimmers to over 1lb, 4 rudd to 1lb. on peg 1
All caught in margins using expander pellets feeding Angel 3mm pellets, on a pole cup, fished constantly through session using Leeda assassin pole with KC Carpa float .
14 yr old Callum Henderson caught a lovely 2lb 15oz crucian –his first crucian he has ever caught, together with a great mixed bag on Sunday all taken on pole and double maggot.
Bowes
Eight 20 lb plus carp were caught in one day, five on 10 mm pellets flavoured with preditor plus, over angel pellets flavoured with preditor plus by Alan Watson from Gosforth who also took on his second rod twenty seven carp to 8lb he was well pleased with his day.
Some cracking fish have been coming out with junior season ticket holder Marc Gibson taking some excellent large doubled figured carp on Saturday morning very early on.
Some Pleasure anglers have had excellent bags to 50 fish in a session, the wind has made catching very difficult spoiling presentation.
Bassetts
Fishing very well despite a week of easterly winds this pond is very sheltered and had range of anglers on it from skilled to novice on lessons
