The Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club will be attending The Tweed Angling Fair and promise a fishing stand like you’ve never seen before!
The Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club can be found in Hall 2 at the show and will be holding a champagne raffle as well as a ‘meet and greet’ opportunity to meet members of the Club, including Club Founder and Chairman, Lucy Bowden. The Club are also offering the opportunity to sign up to become a member on the day.
Lucy Bowden said;
“This will be the first time we have ever attended a show and we are all very excited about it! We hope we can encourage more ladies to sign up as members and partners to purchase Club fishing vouchers for their female relatives and friends and get them out fishing!”
The annual Tweed Fair event is held at Springwood Park, Kelso on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd May, 2010, with tickets priced at £8 per adult and free for children under 16 when accompanied by an adult.
Fishing manufacturers to see at the show include Hardy & Greys Ltd and organisations such as the Salmon & Trout Association and Tweedstart will also be present. Celebrities to see include ‘Life On Mars’ Actor, Dean Andrews and fishing celebrities; Paul Young, Eoin Fairgrieve, Ian Gordon and Hywel Morgan.
