George F. White has announced the sale of land and almost ½ mile of fishing rights on one of the foremost tributaries of one of country’s best salmon fishing rivers, The North Tyne River. Located near Otterburn on the edge of the Northumberland National Park this sale of the rights to the River Rede also includes 26.54 acres of productive grassland. This previously unfished part of the river is the perfect lot for the keen angler and offers of over £75,000 are being invited.
This length of the river for sale is challenging with spring migratory salmon and sea trout running to the spawning grounds at Cottonshope Burn. Later on in the season there is a good run of sea trout providing sport up until the end of the season.
