FishPal appoint a new Marketing Director

FishPal has continued its recruitment strategy by hiring Marketing Director Anne Woodcock from a Newcastle based advertising agency.

Anne has spent over 18 years of her career working for Yell Group a leading international directories business operating in the classified advertising market through printed, online and phone-based media in the UK, US, Spain and Latin America. She has over 18 years account management, training and web development experience to bring to the role.

For the last 12 months she has been working for Advertising Agency Armadillo appointed to manage the agency’s growing client base providing creative sales and marketing. Including establishing the agencies social marketing strategy.

Anne said “ FishPal have given me the opportunity to talk about fishing full time, to use my sales and marketing experience and talk about fishing is a dream come true. My aim is to deliver campaigns in a distinctive and memorable way”

Anne is a keen angler, enjoying fishing for all species on the single and double handed rods and is currently working towards her Level 2 Certificate in Coaching, Angling. She had just finished raising £6,000 for breast cancer charity Casting for Recovery UK & Ireland through ladies fishing initiatives. During winter she enjoys fishing for grayling and dressing flies, including Classic Salmon Flies.
