Yateley Angling Centre would like to thank all members of AnglersNet who attended our 'rig workshop' on 28th May with Steve Renyard who was on-hand to show anglers some of the secrets to his carp angling success.
Steve demonstrated the Withypool Rig, Hermit Rig & Boa rig, to mention a few. He also focused on rig safety, with a great deal of Q&A's from those in attendance. Steve divulged numerous secrets to assist anglers in catching that illusive fish, which those in attendace were keen to put into practise.
Also on hand were Chris Levitt (Sales Consultant) and Craig Brew (MD) of Shimano who were only more than willing to answer any questions put forward by anglers regading Shimano products.
The Next Rig Workshop
The next YAC 'rig workshop' will be demonstrated by local angler and Gardner Tackle Product Development and Marketing Manager, Lewis Read. Accompanying him will be Alan Stagg who many of you will know from his captures of many specimen fish of all species from various venues in the UK. With the river season about to commence, the next YAC next rig workshop is a great opportunity to pick Alan's brains on his success on the rivers.
The duo will be happy to demonstrate and offer advice on their winning fishing rigs using Gardner Tackle hooklink materials, as well as answer any questions you wish to put to them regarding their angling methods or any of the Gardner Tackle range of products. They will also be showing off samples of new hooklink materials, hooks and other gadgets currently being field-tested.
We hope to see members of AnglersNet at our next event, which will take place on Thursday 11th June, 2009, between 4pm - 8pm at Yateley Angling Centre, The Parade, Yateley, Hampshire, GU46 7UN.
