Angling Trust news release

The Angling Trust is launching a new junior league for young anglers across the East Midlands. The league is open to any young angler in the region who wants to have a go at fishing in matches in a friendly, helpful environment.

The league itself will be running at Rycroft Fishery, Hemmington, located just off junction 24 of the M1, a venue stocked full of a variety of coarse fish and will take place over four consecutive Mondays; 18th June, 25th June, 2nd July and 9th July. The fishing will run from 6-9pm with the peg draw taking place at 5.30pm.

In addition a number of coaches will also be onsite throughout the duration of the league to give advice and guidance to anyone who requires it.

Entry to the league is £8, which covers entrance to all four matches. Prizes will be awarded to the overall winner of the league as well as individual prizes for section winners.
