Common CarpAt North House Lake Stuart Pink landed the Parrot Common at 31lb 2oz, The Wanderer at 29lb 13oz and a 26lb 2oz leather. Kevin Day tempted the Lobe Tailed Common at 30lb 8oz and M Gross had a mirror of 21lb 8oz and 20lb 8oz common plus a 4lb+ tench. Andy Onacko has sent me a picture of his pb 25lb mirror as reported in last weeks news.
 
On the adjacent South Lagoon Eric Jones fishing peg 1 banked a 26lb 4oz common using his own Red Eric Baits and Steve Duffy on peg 28 had commons of 13lb 8oz and 9lb 8oz.
 
Nearby on the river Robert Langdon had a specimen 13lb 11oz Zander.
 
At Beckerings Reservoir John West had 6 carp to 22lb and his grandson managed 2 to 18lb. On the same venue Mark Ridgeway caught 10 carp to 22lb and Mick Stringer a couple of high doubles. Tench, bream and roach are still being caught on the pole along with lots of small perch.
 
Match Results:
Luton Angling Club invited Team Raiders to join them at Pitstone on Sunday 19th September , 27 anglers competed, not only against each other but in some areas the elements as well, a very windy day indeed, which really kept weights down.
 
1st Ashley Bunnage  (LAC)  25lb 8oz – weight consisted of two Carp 12 & 8lb maggot being the bait., the remainder small fish .
2nd  Ricky Quick (LAC)  14lb 14oz – mostly skimmers on 4mm expander pellet  
3rd David Flanagan (Team Raiders) 11lb 12oz – skimmers
 
Braggers fished the Grand Union Canal at Slapton on Sunday 12th September
 
1st 48lb 6oz
2nd 37lb
3rd 17lb 12oz
4th 11lb 15oz
5th 10lb 9oz
 
Bream made up most of the weights.
 
Hanwell Prince of Wales AS fished the Grand Union Canal at Chelmscote on Sunday 12th September:
 
1st 17lb 10oz – mixed bag of skimmers, roach and perch to 1lb 11oz
2nd 11lb 3oz – 1 carp 11lb 2oz
3rd 8lb 13oz – 1 carp 8lb 13oz
