The books will be sent out around the end of April. Any member who has not paid the £3.50 charge for next seasons key will not be sent one and will be unable to enter our locked fisheries on 1st June.
Plenty of people enquired about Luton AC running a 24 hour Carp Match this year. If anyone is interested in taking part it will be held at Beckerings Reservoir over 19/20th May. We only have a small number currently registered who have paid the £10 non refundable deposit. (We will refund the deposit if the event is not able to go ahead due to lack of interest). To register phone 01582-879382.
There is one more work party before the end of the season so if you are able to lend a hand please visit the website and register your details.
Sunday 13th May Biddenham
As in previous years, attending a work party will mean you do not have to pay a work party levy if in an eligible membership class. It is important that all those that plan attending the Biddenham work party bring with them as many tools as possible to use on the day eg spades, shovels, hammers, rakes etc
With the rivers on amber alert and likely to burst their banks onto adjoining roads and lakes its worth keeping an eye on this web site for more information http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/floods/34681.aspx?area=052WAFOBB&page=2&type=Region&term=Anglian
