Clark Adams, 26 from Axminster caught a New Lake Record from our Day Ticket Specimen Carp Lake Xanadu, the beautiful ‘Zanna’ at 31lb 4oz, who was last caught back in May 2015 by Lee Duffin at 30lb 8oz.
The weather conditions were tough with up to 58mph winds but that didn’t stop Clark and he went onto catching this beauty! Clark caught the stunning mirror on a maggot and corn rig over 4kg of mixed bait, consisting of maize, maggot and 3 different types of boilie, heavily baited at the bottom of a slope off of the island that felt a good depth. After about 18 hours on the spot, the rod was off.
