As part of the Country Channel’s highly successful interview series, Face to Face, BBC Breakfast and Country Channel TV Presenter Bill Turnbull visited The Fly Fishers Club in London to interview fly fisherman, entrepreneur, conservationist and Chairman of the North Atlantic Salmon Fund, Orri Vigfusson. During this fascinating interview Vigfusson speaks engagingly and passionately about his personal convictions and motivations for saving in excess of five and half million Atlantic salmon.

Orri Vigfusson’s extraordinary achievements in the conservation of Atlantic salmon have been acknowledged worldwide.  In recognition of his work he has been knighted in two countries, received an award from the Prince of Wales and been described by Time magazine as a ‘European hero’. Vigfussen hails from a Herring fishing family in Northern Iceland and has an entrepreneurial background which he has put to use in a bid to save Atlantic salmon.
