Pallatrax’s Simon Pomeroy stated, “These are exciting times for Pallatrax as the company continues to forge ahead and this new ‘partnership’ with the professional team at Backyard Embroidery is a welcome addition to our overall plan. Their enthusiasm and dedication has been unbelievable and we are now launching a high quality, affordable clothing range that is different than anything else on the market, especially with the exclusive fish designs. I’ve known Richard Burnett at Backyard Embroidery for some time now and in tandem with his partner, Leanne Saywell, we have an excellent base, utilising English manufacturers, to continue to expand the range. I’m so confident with them they have now joined us to sponsor the official clothing ranges for the major competition we promote with the Angler’s Mail – the Pallatrax Specimen Cup. This will see Backyard Embroidery produce bespoke hats, hoodies and jackets for the winners within this contest.”

Richard Burnett co-director of Backyard Embroidery added, “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to expand our quality clothing products within the fishing industry. Having known the Pallatrax team for a number of years it was a natural progression for us to work alongside them on this exciting project. We have now designed a complete range that we will be producing on an exclusive basis for Pallatrax with the intention of growing the collection over time. As a fisherman myself, I certainly appreciate what the angler is looking for and the quality of product he needs whilst on the bank.

The uptake on the clothing has been incredible and it’s still in it’s infancy! The fact that we are producing within the UK and using unique, multi species fish designs has already seen impressive sales and feedback. Off the back of this we’re honoured to become the official clothing sponsor for the Anglers Mail all new competition: The Pallatrax Specimen Cup. This will allow us to further promote the clothing to the thousands of weekly readers of this great magazine whilst producing an exclusive range specific to the competition”.
