River Arun

Mike & Nigel Dibble went Pike fishing on the River Arun at Parham on Sunday 4th January, despite a promising start that saw Mike have a small ‘Jack Pike’ get off early in the session, neither angler could manage another take for the rest of the day.

River Adur

Mark Dibble fished the River Adur just upstream of the White Bridge on Saturday 3 January & was pleased to get three bites in the icy conditions. The first bite resulted in the loss of a very heavy fish when it threw the hook. Mark suspects this was one of the rivers many Carp. The second produced a hard fighting Roach/Bream Hybrid of about half a pound & the third saw Mark lose another decent fish off the hook. This one he believes was probably a Bream. All three took groundbait feeder fished double maggot presented o
n a size 16 barbless hook.
