The two lakes are heavily stocked with carp and silver fish, and are available for pleasure anglers and club bookings. A day’s fishing cost from as little as £5.

In the near future a purpose built match facility to be known as ‘The Maze’ will open for business. The Maze will accommodate up to 100 match pegs and is sure to be in high demand for club and open matches.

FLY FISHING AT SEIGHFORD
The ‘Swan Neck’ is a lovely clear water pool of around 2.5 acres heavily stocked with rainbow trout from 2lb to double figures. The lake caters for up to 20 anglers and permits costs as little as £10 for a 5 hour catch and release ticket.

The ‘Railway’ is a more open pool which is only a very short walk from the Swan Neck pool. Stocking densities and size of fish will be comparable with our other fly pool.

Phil Dixon says about Seighford;

"I am tremendously excited about Seighford which has something for all anglers with quality fishing at the right prices and a great welcome. My ambition is that this new facility will develop into a fishery of national significance".

Seighford is situated on the outskirts of Stafford, little more than 5 minutes from Junction 14 of the M6. All anglers on the opening weekend can enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches.
