The EFTTA Board Members and the membership companies would like to extend their condolences to the family of Vince Lister, who recently died of lung cancer, aged 78.

Vince played an important role in the development and support of the Angling Trade in the UK and Europe. He was an ex-Chairman of the ATA and started the UK National Fishing Week festival.  He was also one of the first EFTTEX exhibitors, exhibiting for the first time in 1982 as the Vince Lister Company.  Vince attended the exhibition as either an exhibitor or a co-exhibitor right up until 2003.  Since 1999, Vince worked with Andrew Rice at Reuben Heaton.

Janet Doyle, General Manager, Eftta Secretariat, said ‘Vince was very involved with EFTTA and EFTTEX and was a pleasure to work with.  He served as a Board Member in the 1990’s, retiring in 1995, but was still very active within the organisation and the trade.  I’m sure that he will be sadly missed by all’
