All 3 lochans fished very well again this week for fly and bait anglers. Many anglers bagged their fish limits when fishing the right flies or bait. Average trout size 3lb, with many fish in the 5lb – 8lb specimen category.
Water temperatures are dropping and water quality is excellent. Best Flies this week: Mini-Dancer, Sparklers, Montana, HH Damsel, Cormorants. Best Bait: Orange Powerbait, Worms, Maggots, Taz’s.
ONE RED £50 TAG WAS CAUGHT THIS WEEK: Mr. George McNairn caught a Green Tagged aTorut winning him a free 4hr permit and Mr. Michael Boyden (Denny) caught a £50 RED TAGGED Trout this week from the middle fly pond using fly.
