The fishery evening sessions continue till 9pm 7 days.
All 3 lochans fished very well again this week due to the increased stocking program and the weather has been ideal for fishing. Average weight 3lb 1oz, with many in the 4lb-6lb range.
TWO double figure specimens were caught this week. An 11lb rainbow trout by Mr Beech (Cumbernauld) using mini lures in his bag of 4 fish for 14lb 8oz, and a 10lb rainbow for Mr Spencer (Stirling) using worms in his 3 fish for 13lb from the bait pond.
ONE Red £50 Prize Tagged Trout were caught this week by lucky angler Mr Loudon (Linlithgow). There are loads of Red £50 tags and White £500 tagged fish in the lochans.
Best flies this week were: Buzzers, Hot Head Damsel, Sparklers, Freshwater Shrimp, PTN. Best bait: Power Bait, Mepp Spoons, Toby Lures, Maggots.
