All 3 lochans fished very well again this week for fly and bait anglers. Many anglers bagged their fish limits with an average trout size of 3lb, with many fish in the 5lb+ specimen category.
Intermediate lines and floating lines with sink tips are the best choice at the moment. Best Flies this week: Mini-Dancer, Sparklers, Montana, PTN, Cormorants. Best Bait: White Powerbait, Worms, Maggots, Taz’s.
