All 3 ponds are crystal clear with great top of the water fly fishing sport.
The majority of trout caught this week were in 1-2 feet below the surface.
Rainbows and Blue Trout and Brown Trout, average weight of 3lb 2oz with many in the 4lb �” 6lb range were caught.

With the summer holidays started the fishery is offering Discounted Parent & Child and Junior Fishing Permits.  2hr/2 fish, 4hr/4fish Parent & Child and 2/4 fish Junior Permits are available.

Two double figure trout were caught this week: Mr Dodds (Falkirk) landed a fine 13lb rainbow in his 4 for 23lb using lures. Mr Petrie (Alloa) caught a nice 11lb rainbow using a maggots from the bait pond in his 5 for 21lb.
One Yellow £50 Prize Tagged 5lb Trout was caught from the bait pond by Mr Goodman (Stirling) using worm.

Fly fishers are finding a floating line worked best with small traditionals, hoppers, yellow dancer and buzzers.  Bait anglers found spinners, powerbait and spinners worked best.

Lapsley (Falkirk) 5 for 18lb 8oz, best 6lb 2oz,
McGee (Dunblane) 5 for 18lb, best 6lb,
Ferguson (Bannockburn) 5 for 17lb, best 4lb,
Ronald (Stirling) 5 for 16lb 8oz, best 4lb,
Kerr (Camelon) 5 for 15lb 4oz, best 5lb 4oz,
Moffat (Bonnybridge) 5 for 16lb, best 4lb,
Smith (Denny) 5 for 15lb, best 4lb,
Cooper (Tullibody) 5 for 15lb, best 3lb 8oz,
Clark (Kilsyth) 5 for 15lb, best 3lb.
