The fishery is now open for evening sessions every day until 9pm.
There has been a nice ripple on the water most days making for excellent fly and bait fishing.
The Wellsfield Annual Flymasters 2007 Final was won on Sunday by Junior Angler Charlie Devine (Bannockburn) who weighed in 5 fish for 17lb 8oz including a 8lb rainbow. Runner up was Adrian Pirrie (Sauchie) who landed 5 fish for 17lb including a 4lb rainbow.
The Inchinnan Fishing Club landed 17 trout for 48lb.
Two double figure specimens were caught: A nice 11lb rainbow for Mr Donaldson (Falkirk) in his 4 for 19lb using Buzzers and a 10lb rainbow for Mr Wilson (Tullibody) in his 5 for 21lb from the bait pond using maggots.
Fly fishers are finding a floating line worked best with dancers, buzzers, nymphs and lures.
Bait anglers found spinners, powerbait and maggot worked best.
