The fishery is now open for evening sessions every day until 9pm for excellent evening rises.
Five Troutmasters specimens were caught this week:
Junior angler Charlie Devine caught two specimens back to back mid week from the middle fly pond – a 10lb rainbow and a 8lb rainbow using hoppers.
Craig Watson (Fife) landed a fine 8lb rainbow form the top fly pond.
Mr Laing (Falkirk) caught a fine 8lb rainbow using worms from the bait pond in his 5 for 19lb.
Mr Lui (Dunfermline) landed a nice 7lb rainbow in his 2 for 7lb using flies.
Mr Potts (Winchburgh) landed a fin perfect 6lb rainbow in his 3 for 11lb at the weekend.
Gerflor A/C caught 19 trout for 67lb.
Fly fishers are finding a floating line worked best with muddlers, hoppers, buzzers, diawl bachs, damsels and lures. Bait anglers found spinners, powerbait and maggot worked best.
