Another relatively busy week at Wellsfield Fishery. The Ice Prevention Wave Machines are working well and keeping all 3 ponds open for fly and bait fishing. The fishery is open 7 days from 8am till 5pm. The wave machines will be on all winter if required.
Wellsfield will be open all winter 8am till 5pm.
The fishery will only be closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
We are open on Boxing Day.

Another good week for fly and bait fishing at Wellsfield Trout Fishery. Most anglers bagged their fish limits, average was 3 fish per angler.
FISH OF THE WEEK was a 10lb Rainbow Trout caught by R Grant (Perth) 3 for 27lb, including 10lb rainbow, 9lb 8oz rainbow and 7lb 8oz rainbow trout.
Best flies this week: Cats Whisker, Dancers, Black Fritz, Craft Eye Cat, Zonkers, Hares Ear Nymph. Best Baits: Worms, Maggots, Powerbait and Small Mepp Spinners.
