New website roll-out now complete

Navico, the market leader in leisure marine electronics, has unveiled a complete redesign of the websites for the B&G, Eagle, Lowrance, Northstar and Simrad brands, as well as for Navico itself.

All the new websites share the common attributes of striking graphics to excite the viewer and easy navigation to enable users to find the information that they require quickly and easily.

The Navico website (www.navico.com) includes a one-stop press office containing all the product and corporate announcements, supporting press materials and media contacts for the entire range of brands.

Standard features for the product brands include full details of the complete product ranges at the click of a mouse and the latest news on new products and forthcoming events. But particular attention has been paid to the support sections of each site. All the sites now contain comprehensive product documentation and software, the latest software updates, tips and tutorials, and extensive FAQ sections to ensure that owners of Navico equipment can access the information that they need with the minimum of fuss.

As an example of the success of this approach, the Lowrance support team has already experienced a significant shift from traditional telephone support to the advanced, self-service web solution.

“We recognise the vital role that informative and user-friendly websites play in representing our brands to the leisure marine community,” commented Navico President and CEO Jens-Thomas Pietralla, “and we believe that our new sites succeed in demonstrating our exciting new product line-ups to the best advantage, and will prove a valuable resource to our customers around the world.”
