  1. Elton, I have noticed you have 91 pages of non fishing chat going back to November 2000. Now call me a spoil sport but could you not tidy up a bit, say keep them for 6 months or so. Two years is silly.
  2. I'm 40 now and still have a glass AND the Deer to go with it from when I was 4 years old. I would not part with them for all the world.
  3. I am with the Fire Fighters all the way but with all the unrest of arguing for good fair play, I hope they can have a good Christmas and may everything get soted out in the new year.
  4. I am a great lover of writing thank you letters to family & friends when I receive a gift. Now adays though I find my 2 sons want to use the phone, they are 17 & 15, plus they can take upto a week to get around to it,as young lads they use to sit down and write just a short note of thanks, as for me, if it is my birthday, I write a thank you straight away and get in the post within 2 hours, Christmas it takes a couple of days. Can the youth of today not use a pen or paper, some of my family children don't even ring to say thanks, it makes my think why bother.
  5. According to the head of the post office "There has never been a second delivery service in Great Britain" Yah right stupid person. You may just make the 2nd class stamp post if you can get going before Saturday.

  7. I think it is disgusting that George Best got anything including a transplant. But never mind none of us are perfect. Going back to Sports personality, while I was watching it I put the news flash on ceefax on update 25 mins before Paula had been awarded her trophy it came up on ceefax that she had won it and it was before Sue Barker said the lines for voting were closed!!!
  8. No more flute for sale, I sold last week. Good on me.
  9. Hi Chesters 1 yes Ian got the link and told me about it but I'm still trying to find how to get to the instructions as what I want they have but when you piont your mouse it does nothing!!! Is it me?
  10. Can I just wish everyone on this wonderful site a very Merry Christmas and a very, very happy New Year. That wish is from the bottom of my heart, all of you are there if anyone of us has a problem, you give good, funny and honest advice. What more can we ask. Thank you for being my friends. 12. I actually wanted to play the Clarinet but now I'm not too sure. I don't think I'll bother.
  13. Eileen, why compete, what are the things that you do well? Do them better, lets say you are an average cook (for example), how about doing a cooking course specialising in fish?We all like to listen to music but at the end of the day we HAVE to eat. Share Ians music and he will share the washing up I would. You young women crack me up at times I am a qualified chef and I enjoy baking cakes etc while Ian plays his music. Alan(nl) [ 20.
