I'm not offended. I just thought Bob was offering somthing impotent to anglers but now I think he is just bickering with others. I was interestd in helping if I could but now I think I will just go fishing when I can.
-
Seems to me that this is more about you having grudge about this sandtiger than caring about angling. I dont care about that. I just want to know if someone is going to stop me fish in 2011?. Sid
-
Hi Everyone. Anyone been on a charter recently?, where is fishing well?. Sid
-
I think we should all be supporting Bob not picking holes in what he is doing. If the new Org is helping skippers like Pat. Lovely boat, must have cost a fortune.
-
Why is he going to get a fine.
-
I like wrecking mainly. Pollock in spring and bass and cod later on. Brighton too far to drive. Been with Pat twice. Hasn't he got rid of his boat?.

Hi Barry I'm based in Brum. I dont get to do too much fishing as it is a long way away and the journey takes it out of me. I normally go south, sometimes Weymouth or exmouth or Torquay. I like differant boats most times, in last 3 yearsHave been on Wild Frontier Tiger lily Blue Thunder Rose Ann Anne clare Channel Cheiftain and Boat fishing for me don't want to drive all that way to stand on a beach. What about you? Sid

Hello Bob, I'm not offened but it does sound a bit cloak and dagger? I don't know what you mean though, what is my profile and where do I find it?. Tight Lines Sid

Good Morning Bob, Sad that the VIP's aren't coming forward. Do you think you should approach some of them?, I rekon with someone like Matt Hayes (Total Fishing on Quest channel) you would get everyone attention. I'm excited to see the website, when do you think it will be ready?. I don't know much about angling politics but you've got me worried, what is this marine bill going to do?. I've never used a intenet forum before but everyone seems very nice here, sorrry to hear they aren't all like that. What are you doing are you ignoring them or is there some way you could shut them up?. So when I join you will explain what the issues are and then we will be able to vote on what to do?. I think we need someone to stop fishing boats netting all the fish. Tightest lines Sid

I do all of my fishing from boats so have no casting experience. How do you guys know how far a cast is - is it guesswork based on experience or is there a method?. Thanks Sid

SOME EXCELLENT COD FISHING SUNDAY AND MONDAY
We care a lot replied to big_cod's topic in Sea Fishing
and they say there are no cod left! -
He is rubbish but sky+ it and fast forward through the Robson is a jovial Geordie section to the 5 mins of fish catching at it is worth watching for the fish and the amazing locations.

Saw an Avet for sale a little while ago with 8:1 retrieve - wonder if that would do the trick?.
-
That is disgusting

Another thought is that most busy ports have a 'star skipper' or two, e.g. Shy Torque or Sea Otter out of Whitby, Tiger Lilly or Channel Chieftain out of Weymouth, Silver Spray or True Blue out of Poole, White Waters out of Milford Haven ... and so on. Whilst other boats might be good and preferred by some, you aren't likely to get ripped off if you choose one of those top boats.

personal reccomendations and trip reports are worth their weight in gold. Charter boats uk website has a useful 5 star rating system. Other than that good signs would be a boat with lots of bookings, one that keeps it's website up to date with good catches. Have a good chat with the skipper before booking, see if he knows his stuff. Get him to tell you what he plans to do that day. if he tells you that he is going to steam out 30 miles and in reality drops anchor after a mile I think you have a good argument for withholding payment due to breach of contract.

As suggested I am saying..................................................................... hello

Hi Bob, Thanks very much for the reply, it sounds like things are going really well for you guys. Good luck with the meetings, sounds like high powered stuff, are there really important people from the world of angling involved?. Sorry to hear you've been getting flack, what kind of stuff?, is it the Angling Trust website you mean?. Tighter Lines Sid

Good Morning, I agree with Brian. This is just what us RSA's need - one voice to represent us all. I'm sure you can do it Bob, your posts on here seem very articulate. Are you going to post regular updates on here as the plan develops?. In fact, i'd love to here how things are progressing right now. keep up the good work. Sid
