  1. I hadn't looked at ebay, only Autotrader. I think it's a fair price as well. I need to look through Paypal to see what they require. Just wish I had time at the moment. Work is such a *****.
  2. I've got paypal Chris, but I've never used it to sell anything. Do you know how to do without going through ebay?
  3. Hi Ferret, I'll post a few more pictures tonight. The body is pretty well rust free on the outside. There is a spot of rust on the passenger side footwell. The lacking features for the electrics are the dashlights, sunroof, and rear wiper. I haven't had a chance to sort through them yet. So far I have replaced the alternator, rear tires, fog lights, brake lines, rear box and I have an MP3 player to install once it arrives. The brakes and heater core have been replaced in the past year. The only reason I am selling it is my wife is starting to get concerned and I already have one SUV but would rather have a wrangler. I'm also aware that the petrol models are going for around 2-3K for a J-reg. [ 08. June 2005, 08:45 AM: Message edited by: Jeff S ]

  5. Good idea Elton, 1000 pounds without tax and 1200 with. I'll try posting the pictures. They were taken about an hour ago and have been resized. Sorry it was a spur of the moment thought that had me post it here and I haven't had a chance to clean it.
  6. Have a J-Reg Range Rover Vogue, 3.9 liter petrol, that I need to rid myself of. Passed MOT last month and nearly due for road tax. If anyone is interested I will post pictures or PM me. Thought I would try here before I resort to other methods.
  7. And I still can't bring myself to buy a pint of maggots or release carp to be caught again.

  14. Men and Earrings A man is at work one day when he notices that his co-worker is wearing an earring. This man knows his co-worker to be a normally conservative fellow, and is curious about his sudden change in "fashion sense." The man walks up to him and says, "I didn't know you were into earrings." "Don't make such a big deal, it's only an earring," he replies sheepishly. His friend falls silent for a few minutes, but then his curiosity prods him to say, "So, how long have you been wearing one?" "Ever since my wife found it in my truck."
  15. Must have been painful Argyll. Not sure if I want to laugh or not. Settle for a smile Back in the early 90s I worked as a range firefighter in Eastern Oregon on Malhuer National Wildlife Refuge. (great birding opportunities) On our off time we could sometimes accompany the biologists on their various tasks. We had government issued deet bug 'lotion' which didn't work. Swarms of mosquitos, so many that underneath the trees you could swear that there were high tension powerlines overhead. One story we overheard was that a caravans tire went flat and instead of changing it right away he decided to wait until morning. With it being cold at night the mosquitos tons (tonnes?) of them congregated inside the wheelwell near the hot water tank, so many that touching them felt like flesh so he said. Seriously disgusting! Cr@p I just realized how long this is. Sorry. The midges that we had there and in Florida could be detered by using skin-so-soft. Does it work for you guys?
  16. Nothing funny about them unfortunately, they can be a big problem if you are prone to getting bitten. I had no idea they were so vicious.. They sound like they would give the mosquitos in Eastern Oregon a hard time.

    york?

Free fishing here in the city center (R. Ouse) and if you are willing to drive check these out. Decent fishing in Ripon with 6 miles of river for 5-6 quid day ticket, two still waters, canal and the R Laver which is flyfishing only. York isn't very far from Ripon <small>[ 23. 18. Thanks guys fast response too! I'm sure he will be happy with this information. Scotland has midges..
  19. Can someone help me please? I had this question asked of me and don't have an answer. 'With a wife who works for Oxford University, she travels to England and Scotland a lot. I plan on traveling with her on one of her next trips. Is fishing in Scotland any easier than fishing in England? By easier, I mean fishable waters and their regulations.' I assume he doesn't mind fishing for salmon and sea trout.
  20. I thought the same, but it has been oh soo quiet on here lately I like to read them - not post them
  21. What's the big with insuring a Japanese import? Left hand drive?
  22. Hi Ferox, This is the Customs and Declaration form they use to ship overseas. I'm sure royal mail has the ability to ask everyone getting a package if it was really intended to be a gift? A gift to yourself? The only one who can answer that is you. I don't think many companies ask if it was a gift and most people don't know to request it. This was an order that I placed. I did not request it as a gift. (Note: they ticked 'other' and typed merchandise.) Trying to figure out how to use this scanner.. Seems to work ok as long as you fiddle with the resize.
