  1. Corydoras Landscaping....grass, shrubs and plants in general have a nasty habit of growing no matter how the economy is performing. Yes I need fuel and spare parts but will the costs differ whether part of the Euro or not....very much doubt it! Why exactly must we join the Euro sooner or later? [ 16. 2. corydoras That's exactly right, the UK economy does not dictate my work at all. Funny....so many over inflated egos...so many people think they know better. [ 16. June 2003, 11:17 AM: Message edited by: aanthony ]

    The Swag

As anyone any information on a pool called the "Swag" in Burntwood/Chasetown in Staffs?
  6. Very, very naughty..... but very funny.
  7. Snapper, can't help with videos but reccommend you take a look at Improve Your Coarse Fishing magazine. It's aimed primarily at the newcomer and younger anglers and has some great articles which include hints, tips and clear diagrams. Still read it myself every so often.
  8. 2nd visit........i'm in love!
  9. Cheers oh masterful one.
  10. and me, and me........pretty please.
  11. Corydoras, the only "industry" that pays "my" wages is mine and the only difference the Euro will make to me is a bigger chunk of "stealth" taxes being removed from them. What i'm trying to say is...will joe public have more cash in their pockets, better standard of living and better public services...NO It will only serve to benefit fat cats and big business! [ 11. 12. Anyone with a comment about the Nash Power Pod GT? Look good to me but how do they perform? Think i'd know Gaffers reply.
  13. ricky.g, have you checked out Brundel angling, they were advertising the old Black magic 2 at a reduced price of £249 a short time back. Not a pole angler myself but hear they are pretty good even though they have been preseeded by the mk 3.
  14. So damn close as well, 2nd place.....sounds familiar.
  15. Who exactly will benefit from joining the Euro?......Fat cats and big business that's who. Poor Joe public will have to bare the cost of changing over and then be told "it's good for industry", whip-whoo for industry! As for the price of fags and beer, will they be reduced in price to bring them in line with Europe? yeh right, won't hold my breath. And I can just see the price of petrol being slashed aswell.....Not! B***ocks to the bloody Euro.

    Dads

Sounds very much like my own situation Elton, my real dad never sends me a birthday or christmas card and I doubt he even knows the kids birthdays. My step father is the complete opposite and loves my kids dearly.

  19. And why havn't I got "ANMC member" under my avatar? Paid bloody £15 just for that! Come on mods, get ya fingers out.
  20. Great site with the speedscams, sorry, speedcams Elton. What about gatso's to detect slow drivers that are to timid to drive above 30mph. These in my opinion are more dangerous than someone driving at 80mph on a wide B road. They cause congestion and frustration for other road users and tempt drivers to take risks to get past. If some drivers are too frightened to go above 30mph, should they really be behind the wheel of a vehicle? I think not! I take issue with the theory that "speed kills", speed dosn't kill, poor driving does! [ 07. June 2003, 10:21 PM: Message edited by: aanthony ]
  21. Have you all seen the price of this new shelter! £399, wonder what the mark-up is on this?
